Financial services company ADVFN has awarded BeInCrypto the Best Website for Cryptocurrency News at the 2021 International Financial Awards.

ADVFN cited BeInCrypto as a leading source for news in the cryptocurrency industry. The financial services company highlighted BIC’s commitment to transparency in “an industry rife with disingenuous reporting, unlabeled sponsored articles, and paid news masquerading as honest journalism.”

It also highlighted BIC as an initial adopter of Trust Project principles. The announcement also emphasized the diversity of BIC’s market, reporting in 10 different languages. Finally, it recognized BIC’s breadth of content offerings including news, charts, social media, a trading community, learn, and academy.

“I’m so proud of our team for winning the 2021 ADVFN International Financial Award for the Best Website for Cryptocurrency News,” said BIC CEO Alena Afanaseva. “I’d like to thank everyone for the hard work and effort they put in to help us achieve our goals, as well as our readers — we couldn’t have done it without you!”

The ADVFN International Financial Awards

This year was the seventh time ADVFN has presented its International Financial Awards. The announcement noted that the panel-judged awards were the most diverse to date. The financial services company recognized 56 companies and individuals from the global financial industry.

According to the announcement, the awards “recognize and celebrate the best of breed financial products and services and encompass traditional as well as nascent organizations with recipients ranging from brokers, research providers and trusts to exchanges, YouTubers and financial journalists.”

Some of the awards have been featured for many years, such as Best Execution Only Broker, Self Select ISA Provider of the Year and Best CFD Provider. However, several new categories were added reflecting the growing prominence projects operating in the blockchain, cryptocurrency and DeFi space. These include Best NFT platform, Best Decentralized Exchange and Best DeFi YouTuber.

Regarding their inclusion, CEO of ADVFN Clem Chambers said that cryptocurrency and blockchain were moving towards the mainstream. “A new wave of Decentralized Finance is still on the periphery but seeing increasing interest with the ADVFN userbase,” he added.

Other Crypto Recognitions

Other winners include the Bittrex exchange for Best Crypto Exchange, both Globally and in Asia. Meanwhile, Coinbase won for Best Crypto Exchange in North America. As NFTs have become more prominent, ADVFN recognized Rarible as the Best NFT Platform. Alongside BIC, Forbes won for Best Mainstream Media Crypto Coverage.
