After making a significant impact on the Ethereum event ecosystem with two standout editions, “the most welcoming conference” is back to continue forging its tradition. The third edition of ETH Belgrade Conference and Hackathon is officially set for June 3-5. As in previous years, both events serve as the pillars of Belgrade Blockchain Week, a major gathering featuring dozens of Ethereum and crypto-related events across Serbia’s capital.
ETH Belgrade Levels Up
This year, ETH Belgrade is expected to welcome 1,200+ ETH builders and around 400 hackers from all over the world, solidifying its place among the major Ethereum events. These ambitious numbers are backed by strong early support from industry leaders. Tenderly, DeFi Saver, Chainlink, Flare, iExec, LI.FI, Ethernal, and Oasis are just the first wave of teams backing the conference and hackathon.
A curated speaker list remains one of ETH Belgrade’s defining features. This year, the lineup is more quality-packed than ever, featuring renowned figures from some of the most prestigious crypto projects, including:
- Jeffrey Scholz (Rareskills)
- Andrej Rakic (Chainlink)
- Token Brice (The DeFi Collective)
- Milos Stankovic (Ethereum Foundation)
- Viraz Malhotra (Fuel)
- Uttam Singh (Alchemy)
- Martin Krung (Curve)
…and many more to be announced throughout April and May.
Bridging Builders, Not Just Assets
While ETH Belgrade is raising the bar in hospitality and community-building, it also stays true to Ethereum’s ethos of putting builders first. This year, ETH Belgrade is launching the “Bridging Builders, Not Just Assets” campaign—sending a dedicated plane to Prague to bring hackers for free from ETH Global’s hackathon straight to Belgrade.
At ETH Belgrade, bold actions like this aren’t just symbolic—they create tangible opportunities, strengthen the Ethereum community, and push the ecosystem toward greater decentralization.
Serbia: A Successful Hub for Web3
Serbia has established itself as a key player in the Web3 world over the last decade, with Belgrade alone home to over 50 blockchain companies. This city is home to globally recognized Web3 platforms such as DeFi Saver and Tenderly, making it an ideal location for Ethereum developers.
“Belgrade equals Web3. Some of the biggest Web3 projects globally started here, and it’s our mission to make Belgrade’s name as recognizable as they are.” — Petar Popovic, Founder and Core Organizer of ETH Belgrade
