0x, an open protocol for decentralized exchange on the Ethereum blockchain, has officially been added to Coinbase Pro.
The announcement was made via an official blog post, which states that deposits are open as of 10am PT today. Trading will not be opened up on the popular user-friendly platform for at least 12 hours, as sufficient liquidity is required to effectively open up trading. ZRX will be available for trading against the US dollar, euro, and Bitcoin (BTC). It is worth noting that residents of New York state will not be able to trade 0x on Coinbase Pro. Furthermore, ZRX will not be available on vanilla Coinbase and the associated Android and iOS apps until a yet-to-be-determined future date. The announcement follows a report from BeInCrypto earlier this week that noted the swirling rumors that the altcoin would soon be added to the San Francisco-based cryptocurrency trading platform.

The Coinbase Effect

Anytime an altcoin is added to Coinbase, you can expect the price to react. 0x At the time of this writing, ZRX is trading at $0.878781 USD per token, up 17.02 percent over the last 24 hours.
