About

Josip Heit is a Croatian-born businessperson and fintech strategist active in blockchain infrastructure, digital assets, and financial technology. He has built and participated in multiple business ventures across international trade, commodities, and fintech, later focusing on blockchain-based financial ecosystems and decentralized technologies. Josip Heit currently serves as Senior Strategy Advisor at Apertum Holding Ltd., the company that developed the Apertum Blockchain, a Layer-1 network built within the Avalanche ecosystem and designed to deliver performance, scalability, and decentralization for the next generation of Web3 applications. As a high-throughput, EVM-compatible blockchain, Apertum provides infrastructure for real-world decentralized adoption at scale. In 2025, the project received two Top Layer-1 Blockchain Awards recognizing its technological development. He has participated in interviews and public speaking engagements at international blockchain and fintech events, contributing to discussions on digital asset adoption, decentralized finance, and the evolution of financial infrastructure.
