Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer, who will also focus on Backend Development, for a fast-growing blockchain explorer on the Avalanche network. You will be architecting new software designs, participating in the Agile product cycles, implementing microservices, and improving existing core services. You will work closely with our CTO and our Frontend team to design, develop and scale our core architecture engines used to automate thousands of tasks. You will join a fast growing team where you'll be able to have tremendous impact and contribute with key decisions, both technical and product related.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve a fork to the avalanchego nodes Develop new extensions of the avalanchego node Keep track of node updates and rework edits if necessary
Requirements:
Knowledge or strong willingness to quickly learn Avalanche platform tech details 3+ years of experience in Golang, C++, Java, or Rust 2+ years of proven experience in Blockchain, deep Blockchain knowledge High experience in queue systems (Plus: experience in Kafka, Amazon SQS) High experience in cloud storage (Plus: experience in Amazon S3) Fluency in UNIX/Linux command line
