Job Summary
What you’ll be doing:
📍Work with Marketing and Product managers to increase awareness of Coinbase and its Advance Trading capabilities along with its derivatives offering 📍Educate and bring on customers onto Coinbase’s derivatives platform. This will be 50/50 across Institutional/Prosumer 📍Identify broader cross selling opportunities and leveraging the rest of the Institutional team 📍Work alongside product to further develop our product and make it number one in the asset class 📍Drive client acquisition and manage a portfolio of VIP global clients, ensuring strong, long-lasting relationships. 📍Build rapport and deepen connections with existing clients through frequent, proactive communication and relationship expansion. 📍Develop and implement key customer service processes, establish management guidelines, and monitor the progress of high-priority clients. 📍Analyze client behavior to uncover unmet needs, preparing in-depth customer analysis reports. 📍Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to deliver outstanding service solutions and a superior client experience.
What we look for in you:
📍3+ years of institutional sales experience for a tier-1 cryptocurrency exchange 📍3+ years of experience managing a client portfolio including, but not limited to, institutional clients, high-net-worth individuals, private banking clients, and clients from brokers, futures institutions, or commercial banks. 📍Broad understanding of Derivative markets and products along with experience in providing solutions to clients’ needs. 📍Passionate about the rapidly evolving crypto industry, with a commitment to staying current on the latest trends and innovations. 📍Strong team collaboration - this role crosses all functions of coinbase (Platform, Consumer and Institutional) and across all Product, Legal, Marketing and Sales. It is critical that you have strong team working skills 📍Driven - essentially operating a start up within a start up, so the individual will need to be a self-starter and motivated to push for results without micro-management 📍Entrepreneurial - bring new ideas and methods to the table
