Job Summary
Responsibilities
📍Review and record invoices from vendors 📍Assists with the monthly invoicing process making sure transactions are processed in a timely manner 📍Prepare bank requests and wire information 📍Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices 📍Review and process expense reports from employees 📍Maintain records of outstanding payables 📍Maintain and understand the various general ledgers for the management companies 📍Preparation of quarterly financial reports, bank reconciliations and other accounting functions 📍Assist with annual audits and tax return preparation 📍Daily activities include journal entries in QuickBooks, bank reconciliation, understanding cash flow needs, processing payments, etc. 📍Other ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
📍Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field. 📍Fluency in English. Spanish a plus 📍2-4 years of experience in a related field, including A/P 📍Strong analytical skills 📍Highly organized and able to prioritize 📍Strong technical skills, particularly Excel and QuickBooks 📍Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
