Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šManage all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for our investment companies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. šPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for each investment entity. šConduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities to senior management. šCollaborate with investment teams to assess the financial health of portfolio companies, analyze investment performance, and support decision-making processes. šImplement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure data integrity, and mitigate financial risks within the investment portfolio. šProvide financial guidance and support to investment teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to optimize investment returns. šStay current on web3 industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting the investment sector to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
šBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred. šProven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within the asset management industry šIn-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and investment valuation methodologies. šStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic insights. šProficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. šExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. šDetail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting processes.
