About the company
The Ethereum Foundation (EF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. The EF is not a company, or even a traditional non-profit. We do not control Ethereum, nor are we the only organization that funds critical development of Ethereum-related technologies. We are part of a large ecosystem of organizations, individuals, and companies that support Ethereum. Our mission is to do what is best for Ethereum’s long-term success. Our role is to allocate resources to critical projects, to be a valued voice within the Ethereum ecosystem, and to advocate for Ethereum to the outside world. Since 2014, EF has hosted Devcon, an annual 4-day conference which has become the oldest and most prominent event in the Ethereum community (and arguably the entire blockchain space). The event attracts developers, designers, researchers, creators, and others — many of whom are intrigued by cutting-edge technology, decentralization, privacy/security, free and open-source software, and the potential for Ethereum to change the world for the better. đź“ŤStakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for organizations wanting to learn more about Ethereum in the region. đź“ŤNetwork Coordination: Connect relevant stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ecosystem growth. đź“ŤStrategic Communication: Effectively communicate our organization's mission, goals, and initiatives to external stakeholders. đź“ŤOpportunity Identification: Identify opportunities that align with ecosystem objectives. đź“ŤRelationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with enterprise partners, community members, and industry organizations. đź“ŤEcosystem Mapping: Maintain knowledge of key players, projects, and initiatives across the Ethereum landscape. đź“ŤProgress Tracking: Consistently document relationship development and maintain stakeholder information. đź“ŤEvent Coordination: Represent the Ethereum Foundation at industry events and coordinate participation in key ecosystem initiatives. đź“ŤCommunity Engagement: Actively participate in Ethereum community discussions and identify opportunities for collaboration.
Requirments
📍Experience: Professional experience (5+ years) in institutional sales, business development, or relationship management within Blockchain, Financial Services, or FinTech. 📍Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of institutional requirements, market dynamics and trends, and Ethereum’s ecosystem. 📍Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with a talent for building authentic connections with senior executives. 📍Networking: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships effectively; an existing network in your region is highly desirable. 📍Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for Ethereum and permission-less/open-source technologies. 📍Autonomy: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. 📍Communication: Exceptional communication skills both internally and externally and you highly value working transparently with your colleagues.
