Polygon Labs develops Ethereum scaling solutions for Polygon protocols. Polygon Labs engages with other ecosystem developers to help make available scalable, affordable, secure and sustainable blockchain infrastructure for Web3. Polygon Labs has initially developed a growing suite of protocols for developers to gain easy access to major scaling solutions, including layer 2s (zero-knowledge rollups and optimistic rollups), sidechains, hybrid chains, app-specific chains, enterprise chains, and data availability protocols. Scaling solutions that Polygon Labs initially developed have seen widespread adoption with tens of thousands of decentralized apps, unique addresses exceeding 225 million, over 1.2 million smart contracts created and 2.56 billion total transactions processed since inception. The existing Polygon network is home for some of the biggest Web3 projects, such as Aave, Uniswap, and OpenSea, and well-known enterprises, including Robinhood, Stripe and Adobe. Polygon Labs is carbon neutral with the goal of leading Web3 in becoming carbon negative.
Job Summary
Your Responsibilities
📍Identify and close high-impact commercial collaborations with enterprises, financial institutions, and ecosystem players to expand adoption of Polygon Labs' solutions, including Agglayer and CDK 📍Execute region-specific growth strategies primarily in North America but also EMEA and LATAM in alignment with local regulatory and market conditions 📍Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing) to ensure a seamless path from initial discussion to deployment. 📍Partner with collaborators post-launch to help grow their ecosystems, drive user adoption, identify distribution channels, and support long-term success based on their unique use case and business model. 📍Represent Polygon Labs externally at conferences, industry events, and social forums to advocate for our technology stack and ecosystem vision 📍Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends in RWA tokenization, stablecoins, DeFi, and institutional blockchain adoption, while evangelizing onchain finance and interoperability across the Polygon Labs ecosystem. 📍Maintain and grow a strong network of institutional and ecosystem contacts to uncover new strategic opportunities
What You’ll Need
📍8+ years experience in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, or ecosystem growth, ideally within blockchain, fintech, or capital markets 📍Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, Ethereum scaling (especially ZK rollups), smart contracts, and the broader Web3 ecosystem 📍Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex commercial agreements 📍Exceptional communication skills and comfort interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 📍Experience operating in remote-first teams and across time zones 📍Familiarity with Polygon Labs’ technology stack (Agglayer, CDK, Polygon PoS) preferred
