Job Summary
Responsibilities
šManaging the Compliance Diary including scheduling mandatory regulatory reporting and registrations and meetings with the Board and Senior Management šCoordinating compliance-related meetings with relevant stakeholders including various committee members and where applicable, keeping minutes of such meetings šCoordinating mandatory and ongoing training requirements and deliveries and in conjunction with compliance officers and managers drafting training materials šIn liaison with other internal team members and stakeholders such as the Business Development and Onboarding Teams, conducting research into new product and service areas, technological compliance solutions, country-specific applicable compliance laws and regulations šMonitoring relevant regulatory websites, news and alerts including FATF Country Risk Updates and media in respect of adverse news and maintaining a tracker of pertinent Bitfinex Internal changes šDrafting reports of important regulatory and legal updates in pertinent countries šDrafting presentations for a variety of compliance matters šManaging the Policy management application and drafting new policies and procedures šActing as the coordination point and providing excellent and timely customer service to internal and external stakeholders šAssisting with governance practices in respect of Policy and Procedure updates
Job requirements
šDemonstrated verbal and written communication skills proficiency šThe ability to think critically and proactively to solve problems šBasic knowledge or above of AML, CTF and Sanctions requirements and familiarity with the FATF Guidelines and /or European or regional equivalents šSuperb organizational and time management skills šExcellent knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of Office Products and Adobe šExcellent knowledge of the G Suite (incl. Google Sheets, Docs, Calendar etc.) šThe ability to work flexibly across different time zones šA willingness to learn
