About Blockpact Capital Blockpact Capital is a venture capital firm focused on supporting and investing in early-stage companies and protocols in the blockchain and digital asset ecosystem. The team brings multidisciplinary expertise (engineering, investing, law, marketing, and business development) and deep relationships across founders, developers, investors, and broader industry participants.
Role Overview As a Business Development Manager, you will expand Blockpact Capital's deal flow and ecosystem footprint by building high-trust relationships with founders, co-investors, accelerators, protocols, and service providers. You will help convert relationships into tangible outcomes: qualified opportunities, strategic partnerships, co-investment access, and value-add support for portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities • Own and grow a high-quality pipeline of founders, protocols, and early-stage teams
• Source and qualify opportunities aligned with the fund's blockchain and digital asset focus
• Build partnerships with accelerators, launchpads, KOLs, and ecosystem operators
• Coordinate intro paths between founders and the investment team; ensure fast, clear follow-ups
• Represent Blockpact Capital at conferences, demo days, and community events
• Develop ecosystem maps and relationship intelligence (who matters, why, and how to engage)
• Support portfolio companies with partner introductions (exchanges, market makers, infra, growth)
• Maintain CRM hygiene and weekly reporting on pipeline quality, conversion, and outcomes
What Success Looks Like (90–180 days) • Consistent weekly inflow of qualified founder conversations and warm referrals
• Measurable increase in co-investor and ecosystem partner coverage in priority theses
• Improved speed-to-meeting and speed-to-memo through better coordination and signal capture
• Visible portfolio value-add via partnerships and strategic introductions
Requirements Technical
Requirements:
• 4+ years in BD/partnerships, VC platform roles, crypto ecosystems, or high-growth startups
• Strong understanding of Web3 primitives (L1/L2, DeFi, infra, tokenomics basics)
• Proven ability to originate relationships and turn them into concrete outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication (English)
• Operational discipline: CRM, follow-ups, partner tracking, and lightweight analytics
• Willingness to travel for key ecosystem moments
Preferred Qualifications:
• Existing network across founders, investors, and communities in digital assets is a strong plus
• Comfortable with fast-moving markets and ambiguous problem-solving
Compensation and Benefits Base Salary Range: $120,000 – $180,000 USD Annual (DOE) Additional Benefits
