Job Summary
Responsibilities
šDrive new business growth in South Korea and Japan, with an emphasis on identifying and executing on new opportunities as you work to meet your quarterly targets. šBe the face of Figment in the region, including media engagements, conferences and industry forums šWork closely with Product, Engineering, and Design counterparts in US and Canada to influence product design for the needs of your specific customer base šPartner closely with US and Canadian teams to ensure operational excellence and that Figments brand and values are reflected locally
Desired skills
šMust have entrepreneurial experience leading tech or fintech sales initiatives in the South Korean market, and scaling it to at least $100M in revenue. šSolid understanding of the South Korean and Japanese region regulated payment services and financial services landscape, particularly with respect to fintech. šExperience in business development, especially payments. šPast experience in engaging with regulators and managing a business/business unit subject to regulatory oversight. šGreat communication skills in Korean and English and the ability to work effectively in a remote-first organization, implementing global standards while ensuring that local requirements are met. šBasic Japanese is a plus
