Job Summary
What you'll do:
đź“ŤOversee technical and product strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products and services. đź“ŤStay updated on the bleeding edge of technological and ecosystem advancements to drive technical strategies keeps Alchemy at edge of competition; effectively communicate concepts and progress. đź“ŤEnhance execution, mentor the team, and refine processes as the team scales. Provide technical mentorship to ensure high-quality standards. đź“ŤFoster team growth by actively recruiting and hiring top-tier engineers. đź“ŤInfluence Alchemy's overall engineering culture through leadership, mentorship, and programs promoting continuous learning and development.
What we're looking for:
đź“ŤBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. đź“Ť7+ years of experience in software development, with a preferred focus on distributed systems. đź“Ť2+ years in engineering management; proven success in building and leading backend teams for critical production infrastructure at a high-growth startup. đź“ŤExpertise in engineering and maintaining large scale distributed systems. đź“ŤExperience with Java, K8s, AWS, multi-region, multi-cloud is strongly preferred.
