Job Summary
About the role:
📍Our marketing team is looking for a Sr. Social Media & Influencer Manager to redefine our social strategy to amplify Robinhood across social channels and build a meaningful community with our customers. You’ll guide a small team that shapes Robinhood’s social narrative, builds community, aligns our messages with business & brand goals, responds to corporate issues, and informs product GTM marketing and communications strategies.
Your day-to-day will involve:
📍Developing and executing on Robinhood’s social strategy (including content, creative, community) that connects with, adds value for, and builds an authentic and engaged community of Robinhood users online 📍Own and communicate the social strategy & processes internally working cross-functionally with key stakeholders like marketing, compliance, customer service, product, engineering and our leadership teams to influence how we utilize our channels and how communicate our business and brand needs 📍Craft social plans to support key moments that influence the thinking and behavior of key audiences, in support of major launches and corporate moments including but not limited to: product marketing initiatives, brand efforts, consumer comms, reputation and trust, and key partnership announcements. 📍Set benchmarks; optimize and improve social channel health tied to metrics (follower growth, social conversation volumes and sentiment, and content performance). 📍Develop influencer strategy to supplement social strategy and develop processes and relationships to scale program 📍Partners with comms teamto supplement coverage of and amplifies news about Robinhood’s products, services, and customers. 📍Collaborating with Robinhood’s broader communications team to translate and frame often complex and dynamic matters that may affect the business;Assist with crisis management communications strategy.
Some Things we Consider Critical for this Role:
📍10+ years working in social media marketing and communications media for consumer brands with experience teaching a variety of audiences across platforms, community & brand building, product marketing and issues management 📍Building out a social strategy with a clear point of view on channels, content and creative best practices vs. inheriting a strategy to execute against 📍Experience in financial services or fintech. 📍A deep understanding of internet culture, new channels like TikTok, and new tactics like Twitter Spaces. 📍You’ll have deep existing relationships with finfluencers and communities focused on crypto
