šOutline controller requirements based on system performance requirements šDesign and implement new topologies for controllability and fit to system requirements šDevelopment of control strategies to provide highest performance of the system šDevelopment of dynamic models of the system, and tune controller algorithms accordingly to optimize performance šTranslate algorithms into software implementation, and work with the firmware team to integrate that into the firmware framework šTest, validate, and troubleshoot controller implementation šDevelop and utilize computer simulations (Matlab/Simulink, HiL, SiL) to analyze developed algorithms, improvement, and modification

šAppropriate combination of degree and/or experience developing, implementing, and testing power electronic devices šStrong analytical skills with solid device, circuit, and controls theory fundamentals šStrong hands-on testing and troubleshooting skills šExperience with embedded firmware development for real-time controls systems šFamiliarity with safety and compliance standards for electrical machines connected power electronics šFamiliarity with electrical machines operation
