When you join SDF as a Community Manager, you will be a part of a team thatās leveraging that opportunity to increase developer participation in order to bootstrap the ecosystem of tools, protocols, dapps, and educational resources necessary for Soroban to succeed.
Job Summary
In this role, you will:
šSource, qualify, and close partnerships with protocols, wallets, and platforms that add value to the Stellar DeFi ecosystem, with particular focus on multi-chain, interoperable platforms that can connect to the broader DeFi world (i.e. via EVM chains, Solana, etc.). šDrive forward DeFi projects on Stellar and support ecosystem integration and partnership needs, as well as the overall growth strategy for each project. šFoster strong relationships within Web3 to support the launch and growth of Stellar-based DeFi (i.e. security firms, bridges, exchanges, oracles). šWork closely with product and engineering to develop new business opportunities. šServe as an internal leader to drive initiatives and advocate for ecosystem partners. šWork with the ecosystem and marketing teams to support the launch and execution of new programs and initiatives for our global partners. šDevelop innovative strategies to support the Stellar ecosystem and their businesses. šRepresent SDF at conferences and events around the world.
You have:
š5+ years of relevant crypto, web3, and/or DeFi experience with at least 1 year working in (or closely with) the decentralized finance space. šExisting relationships with wallets, protocols, and exchanges DeFi knowledge: youāre an adaptable self-starter and self-learner in crypto, DeFi, and the Stellar network. šSignificant experience working with internal and external stakeholders to execute projects and/or business negotiations. šDemonstrated ability to execute complex projects through successful completion. šExceptional oral and written communication skills in English. šCapacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment with multiple stakeholders while having a high degree of accountability and autonomy.
