Job Summary
Responsibilities:
š Work closely with the Art Director and Concept Art to drive the creation of high quality VFX simulations, textures, and materials šEstablish process, standards, documentation, and training šEnsure that VFX art assets are built to high technical and efficiency standards šTask and manage a team, both internal and with external šCollaborate with Production to organize, schedule, and manage the VFX team's daily activities š Partner with Engineering and Technical Art to build and improve the VFX art pipeline šTroubleshoot a wide variety of issues in DCC tools and in game
Qualifications:
š Passion for iterative design and peer-to-peer culture. š5-7 years of professional experience VFX and leading teams š Excellent understanding of timing, motion, and volume preservation šMastery of modern asset generation techniques in industry standard DCC tools (Maya/Houdini, Photoshop, etc) šA solid understanding of performance budgets, and other technical requirements for building optimized content šStrong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal šExperience managing and collaborating with a team working remotely šExtensive experience collaborating with other departments, artists, designers, and programmers šExperience working with modern game engines such as Unreal, Unity, or proprietary technologies
