Job Summary
What you'll be doing:
📍Daily compilation, substantiation, and reporting of Profit and Loss (P&L) and balance sheet movements across various cryptocurrency and digital asset products. 📍Execute daily trade and position reconciliations across internal systems and exchange platforms to identify and resolve discrepancies (breaks) quickly and independently. 📍Provide insightful analysis of P&L drivers, risk exposures, and market trends to key stakeholders, including Management and the Trading team. This includes explaining significant variances and product performance. 📍Act as a robust and credible partner to the Front Office, Market Risk, and Operations teams. 📍Identify and execute opportunities for improving efficiency and controls within the Middle Office workflow, including delivering tactical solutions with minimal senior involvement. 📍Contribute to the control design and operational readiness for new financial instruments and trading strategies launched by the trading team.
What we're looking for:
📍4-6 years of relevant experience in a Middle Office, Product Control, or Financial Control function, ideally within a bank or FinTech firm. 📍Product Control functions knowledge, including their purpose and the value they provide to internal stakeholders. 📍Must possess a keen interest in understanding deeper into financial instruments/products, especially in the digital asset or traditional fixed income/FX space. 📍Good Excel and VBA skills are essential for reporting and automation. 📍Experience or interest in using Python, R, or other programming skills for data analysis, building tools, or automating reports is a significant advantage.
