Job Summary
Technical Skills:
šHas deep knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design, and training methodologies. šManage the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies; ensure content is up to date, well documented, and easily accessible to employees. šBuild analytics and key metrics to track completion and measure the effectiveness of training programs. šComplexity and Impact of Work: šCollaborates with leaders and other stakeholders to understand company-wide developmental & compliance needs and create comprehensive learning strategies based on assessment. šDesign, develop, and implement training initiatives, including (but not limited to) leadership development programs, technical skills training, onboarding training programs, etc. šEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, metrics, and analysis; make improvements as needed. šPartner with People Partners, organizational leaders, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and provide solutions that enhance employee performance and career growth for specific organizational needs. šDevelop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation while maximizing impact. šOrganizational Knowledge: šDesign and deliver impactful learning programs that align with organizational goals and support employee development. šCollaborate with People Partners to identify high-potential employees and develop skills and succession plans. šStay up to day about trends and best practices in learning and development; recommend innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience. šCommunication and Influence: šLeads with empathy when interacting and communicating with members of the Village. Embodies and is a role model for our culture within the domains of One Team, One Village, Creative & Curious, and šShared Consciousness. šSeamlessly contributes and adds value to cross-functional projects across the Village. Is able to work alongside members of the Village on a variety of projects. šIs an active collaborator within the People team and effectively communicates to drive shared consciousness across the different functions of the team. šIs able to influence members of the Village on the need to shift thoughts or change established processes. šBuilds and maintains relationships with managers and Villagers to establish trust and consistency.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
šExperience as a Learning & Development Specialist, Training Manager, or similar role. šStrong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. šExperience designing and delivering a variety of training methods šFamiliarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies. šExcellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences. šStrong project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
