Most crypto users for example those who own ETH or BNB are used to a single key wallet, often referred to as an externally owned account (EOA). Examples include; MetaMask, Trustwallet, Exodus etc. These accounts are secured with 12 word āseed phraseā, which can be transformed into a private key for the user. If that private key is compromised in any way, the funds can be stolen. If your project comprises of more than 1 person, an externally owned account is not a secure way to manage your businessās crypto funds If an employee goes rogue or is careless with the private key, the funds are gone forever. Even if your business is made up of just yourself, Iād argue itās still a poor way to manage funds. So, what is the better solution? Enter the Multisig. Safe is a smart contract wallet running on a number of blockchains that requires a minimum number of people to approve a transaction before it can occur (M-of-N). šAs a Head of Developer Experience you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that engage and support developers, drive developer adoption of our products and technologies, and foster a vibrant developer ecosystem around our company. You will ensure our developers have the best possible experience when implementing Safe{Core}.
What you will be doing
šDefine the strategy for how developers discover, onboard, build, and scale applications on top of Safe{Core} šCoordinate Safe Core event participations in collaboration with events team šSupport developer initiatives such as hackathons, grants program and accelerators šEnsure that product requirements from developers are reaching the internal development teams šStreamline how we roll out new developer features/products and changes to the community šCoordinate generation of technical content such as developer documentation, technical blog posts and educational material šEngage with developers, improve developer satisfaction and grow the developer community
What you will bring
šStrong technical background with a broad understanding of web technologies, smart contract development and Python šAt least 2-3 years leading a developer experience or developer relations team in Web3 šProven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with developers and their communities as a developer advocate šExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences šDemonstrated ability to develop and execute successful developer programs and initiatives šKnowledge of best practices for developer documentation
