Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šInstitutional Client Development: Source, onboard, and manage relationships with hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, brokerages, banks, family offices, and other institutional participants, primarily within the U.S. market. šSales Leadership: Drive OTC revenue growth through proactive business development and strategic relationship management, expanding GeminiĆ¢ĀĀs institutional client base and deepening wallet share with existing accounts. šCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with trading, product, operations, and compliance teams to optimize client experience, streamline execution, and ensure operational excellence. šGlobal Coordination: Work with GeminiĆ¢ĀĀs international teams and 24/7 trading desk to deliver seamless client coverage and cross-regional opportunities. šMarket Expertise: Provide timely market intelligence, trade ideas, and strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders. šPipeline Management: Build and maintain a comprehensive client pipeline, track performance metrics, and report business outcomes to leadership. šBrand Representation: Represent Gemini at industry conferences, client events, and in key media engagements to elevate the firmĆ¢ĀĀs institutional brand and reputation.
Qualifications:
š10+ years of experience in institutional sales, trading, or relationship management, with at least 3+ years of direct experience in crypto OTC markets. šProven track record of originating, growing, and managing institutional relationships that drive meaningful trading volume and revenue. šStrong book of institutional contacts across hedge funds, prop trading firms, and brokerages that can be leveraged immediately. šDeep understanding of digital asset OTC market structure, liquidity dynamics, execution workflows, and settlement processes. šAbility to navigate a complex, regulated environment while maintaining a commercial, client-first approach.
