Ten years ago, sports fans got sports news and information exclusively from the media or television. In 2014, fans get sports news and information directly from the teams and players. As a result, sports franchises are now becoming media companies themselves, hiring reporters, television producers, and digital directors responsible for generating a material new revenue source for team. As social content has become more image and video based, social media sponsorship activations have become more creative. It is not longer relevant to analyze only text in social media. Blinkfire Analytics uses computer vision to analyze multimedia resources and generate reports for Teams, Players, Agents and Brands so they can better engage their fans and sponsors. Brands can now manage their brand lift on the "visual web", first in the sports channel, and later, beyond.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented graphic designer with strong business, communication, and advertising skills to join our Marketing team at Blinkfire Analytics! The Graphic Designer will be responsible for helping to drive product sales, brand awareness, and adoption through compelling designs that bring Blinkfire's innovative SaaS platform and tech to life. We’re looking for someone who is skilled in design and advertising and, can deliver an aesthetic across Blinkfire's products and owned platforms, and has the ability to transform ideas into materials that visually tell great stories. This person will report to Blinkfire's VP of Marketing and will collaborate closely with Blinkfire's Product & Engineering teams. The Graphic Designer will wear multiple hats, developing digital marketing materials that range from collateral to digital media campaigns to presentations. Responsibilities • Deliver compelling product materials, including collateral design, social media, digital ads, emails, presentations, whitepapers, and some printed materials (brochures, flyers, etc). • Adhere to and contribute to brand, style, voice, tone, design guidelines and standards. • Contribute creative solutions and follow all directions accurately in a deadline-driven, goal-oriented, multi-functional environment. • Ensures all graphics and content are accurate, timely, relevant, compelling, and appropriate for the intended audience. • Collaborate and take accountability for completing tasks in a timely fashion, adhering to project deadlines. • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously within established timeframes and maintain an awareness of status and project deliverables. Knowledge & Skills Requirements: • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud to develop marketing materials. (Proficiency using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and Figma (or another UX tool) ). • Highly collaborative and open to feedback, suggestions and working alongside teams to ensure best outputs. • Ability to incorporate various types of multimedia into deliverables. • Understanding of technical design principles and the application of corporate brand guidelines. • Proven track record in executing impactful digital marketing campaign creative. • Demonstrated ability to think quickly and creatively to accommodate a dynamic business environment. • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Experience: • 3+ years relevant work experience with an advertising background. • Past experience in a startup, software company, or technology company is a plus.
