Job Summary
What You'll be Doing:
šLeading strategic direction and governance support related to central Compliance functions (ie. AML/CFT, sanctions and other regulatory requirements). šDeveloping and maintaining robust compliance policies, standards, procedures, and guidance frameworks. šEngaging cross-functionally (with groups such as Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk) to implement an effective compliance management program in line with the global standards and industry best practices. šDeveloping and maintaining a dynamic dashboard to report compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPI). šPrepare timely compliance reports, including reports to management and the Board, and other materials as required by direct and matric shareholders. šLead and provide guidance to two Compliance Analysts and a potential growing team. šDefine strategy for implementation and enhancement of the Governance team. šDevelop Global Compliance reporting structure to provide transparency across Regional Compliance functions. šPrepare Compliance reports, including reports to management and the board, and other materials as required by direct and matrix stakeholders and submit timely. šAssist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
What We Look For in You:
š7+ years of experience in compliance with financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries. š3+ years of management experience for a team lead role. šExperience and knowledge of relevant laws and requirements (AML/CFT, sanctions, consumer protection, privacy). šStrong leadership and people management skills. šBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. šProven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. šSelf-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks. šIntuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge. šStrong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. šExcellent interpersonal, leadership, organization, negotiation, and communication skills.
