Job Summary

Your day-to-day will involve:

📍Playing a key role in our our recurring FP&A processes, including forecasting, monthly results analysis, budgeting, financial system oversight, and management reporting 📍Synthesizing / distilling key financial and business insights for leadership - analyzing results, business KPIs, assessing risk, and communicating timely risks & opportunities. 📍Developing and executing on company-wide annual planning processes, financial forecasts, and ongoing analysis of variances. 📍Identifying and implementing process improvements and cost efficiency measures across the company 📍Being a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable solutions to support the next wave of Robinhood’s growth. 📍Designing and building the financial infrastructure to automate and support our business and operations

About You:

📍A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study 📍1-3 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis roles (corporate or business-facing) 📍Ability to work horizontally and vertically in an organization with peers as well as senior leaders 📍Strong verbal and written communication skills, logical reasoning, and the presentation of potential solutions 📍Excellent analytical skills and the business judgment to balance the details while not losing sight of the big picture, and an ability to determine the “why” behind the numbers 📍Excellent proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, and interest in developing sophisticated querying / modeling skills 📍Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion 📍Experience in utilizing financial systems for data input and reporting, and the ability to build and maintain relevant reporting hierarchies for use within the system 📍A positive attitude. This means a desire to work hard, be creative, stay curious, and maintain a can-do approach.

Bonus points:

📍Familiarity with analytical tools (SQL, Looker) and financial reporting software (Oracle, Anaplan) 📍Relevant industry experience (e.g. investment banking, private equity, equity research, or strategic finance) 📍Experience working in the tech industry
