Job Summary
What you will be responsible for:
šLead the installation, maintenance, and repair of high and low-voltage power distribution systems for a hydroelectric-powered crypto mining data center. šMonitor and manage power supply systems to ensure optimal and continuous operation, minimizing power interruptions and faults. šPerform accurate electricity calculations, timely reporting, and maintenance of detailed records of power usage, incidents, and repairs. šIdentify and analyze electrical hazards, providing actionable solutions to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations. šSupervise, mentor, and train junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety, skill development, and operational efficiency. šMaintain and manage spare parts, tools, and meters to ensure operational readiness and timely repairs. šOversee and maintain clean and organized workspaces within designated electrical areas.
How you will stand out:
šEducation: Technical secondary school or higher, with a major in Electrical Engineering or a related field. šExperience: At least 9 years of hands-on experience in high and low-voltage power systems, with strong expertise in the maintenance and operation of substations and distribution facilities. šTechnical Skills: šProficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues. šIn-depth knowledge of electrical equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and power monitoring systems. šFamiliarity with power management in energy-intensive data centers or industrial facilities is highly preferred. šLeadership: Proven experience supervising and mentoring junior team members, with strong project and resource management skills. šSafety Compliance: Extensive understanding of safety regulations and operational standards for high-voltage electrical systems.
