Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL DO
šWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director, Payment Technologies to lead the strategy, design, development, and launch of our credential-based fiat and digital asset value transfer product. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, economics, currency markets, corporate treasury, domestic and international payment technologies, payment instruments, payment flows, and product strategy, design, and development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and managing the value transfer product, ensuring its stability, security, and seamless integration into the global financial ecosystem. Other responsibilities include:
šDefine the value transfer productās vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with the companyās overall goals and objectives. šCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, economists, legal and compliance experts, banking partners, and marketing professionals, to conceptualize, design, and launch the value transfer product. šConducting thorough market research to identify opportunities, challenges, and potential competitors within the value transfer space. šDeveloping a comprehensive roadmap, outlining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables for the value transfer project. šDefining the composition of the commodity reserve basket, utilizing advanced economic and financial models to optimize stability, diversification, and value preservation. šWorking closely with external partners and regulators to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and guidelines. šMonitoring currency markets, economic indicators, and global financial trends to inform decision-making and optimize performance. šImplementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential volatility and ensure the stability of the payment instrumentās value over time. šLeading user research and feedback collection initiatives to refine the value transfer product based on user preferences and needs. šCollaborating with marketing and communications teams to develop effective strategies for promoting the value transfer product to a global audience. šStaying up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the value transfer landscape.
