Job Summary
RESPONSIBLITIES:
đź“ŤManage daily import activities including daily interaction with customs brokers, vendors, couriers and freight forwarders đź“ŤAssign Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes and Schedule B to our products đź“ŤUnderstand and work with various importing requirements and government agencies such as FDA, EPA, AD/CVD, Section 201,301,232, quotas and Free Trade Agreements đź“ŤIdentify and recommend process improvements and technology solution to streamline import operations đź“ŤConduct document reviews and audits customs entries while ensuring accurate and complete record keeping are maintained per regulations đź“ŤMonitor U.S. imports to ensure timely clearance and resolve problems as necessary đź“ŤWhere applicable, work with key stakeholders to drive system and process improvements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
📍Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, international business, accounting, and/or international trade 📍1+ years of experience with international trade compliance matters
