Job Summary
RESPONSIBLITIES:
📍Manage daily import activities including daily interaction with customs brokers, vendors, couriers and freight forwarders 📍Assign Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes and Schedule B to our products 📍Understand and work with various importing requirements and government agencies such as FDA, EPA, AD/CVD, Section 201,301,232, quotas and Free Trade Agreements 📍Identify and recommend process improvements and technology solution to streamline import operations 📍Conduct document reviews and audits customs entries while ensuring accurate and complete record keeping are maintained per regulations 📍Monitor U.S. imports to ensure timely clearance and resolve problems as necessary 📍Where applicable, work with key stakeholders to drive system and process improvements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
📍Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, international business, accounting, and/or international trade 📍1+ years of experience with international trade compliance matters
