RESPONSIBILITIES:

📍Manage, coordinate and act as the liaison for multiple service contracts such as janitorial, DI water systems, pest control, fuel distribution, landscaping, waste management, etc. 📍Partner with Purchasing on the RFP/ bid process for multiple service contracts. 📍Coordinate operational schedules for vendors to not affect or slow down the SpaceX operation. 📍Work with suppliers to increase efficiency in service delivery. 📍Ensure vendors meet SpaceX, Air Force and NASA standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship in the agreed timeframe. 📍Manage the traffic of operational requests and follow through completing of tasks that require support from vendors SpaceX engages in continued service contract. 📍Interact with tradesman, contractors and building officials to coordinate and execute maintenance repair of facilities support equipment. 📍Direct system repairs of Facilities, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, fire protection, water and plumbing infrastructure, paint, and grounds keeping. 📍Coordinate and facilitate furniture requests to align with site standards. 📍Manage fleet vehicle requests, insurance, tags and maintenace with automotive shop.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

📍High school diploma or equivalency certificate 📍3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance with the capability organizing work with multiple trades.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

📍Facilities Management Professional (FMP), Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification. 📍Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field.
📍Must be organized and self-driven capable of working independently with little direction 📍Demonstrate innovative and futuristic thinking to drive continuous improvement
