Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES:
šManage, coordinate and act as the liaison for multiple service contracts such as janitorial, DI water systems, pest control, fuel distribution, landscaping, waste management, etc. šPartner with Purchasing on the RFP/ bid process for multiple service contracts. šCoordinate operational schedules for vendors to not affect or slow down the SpaceX operation. šWork with suppliers to increase efficiency in service delivery. šEnsure vendors meet SpaceX, Air Force and NASA standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship in the agreed timeframe. šManage the traffic of operational requests and follow through completing of tasks that require support from vendors SpaceX engages in continued service contract. šInteract with tradesman, contractors and building officials to coordinate and execute maintenance repair of facilities support equipment. šDirect system repairs of Facilities, HVAC equipment, electrical systems, fire protection, water and plumbing infrastructure, paint, and grounds keeping. šCoordinate and facilitate furniture requests to align with site standards. šManage fleet vehicle requests, insurance, tags and maintenace with automotive shop.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
šHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate š3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance with the capability organizing work with multiple trades.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
šFacilities Management Professional (FMP), Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
šDegree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related field.
šMust be organized and self-driven capable of working independently with little direction
šDemonstrate innovative and futuristic thinking to drive continuous improvement
