Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES

📍Business Development 📍Develop and execute a strategy to achieve the agreed revenue targets for programmes, corporate client relationships and third-party relationships. 📍Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships. 📍Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements. 📍Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials. 📍Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities. Recommends equity investments. 📍Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations. 📍Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities. 📍Estimates partners’ needs and goals. 📍Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations. 📍Responsible for building/managing a task force of business developers across the continent? 📍Finance and Resource Management 📍Work with Director of Outreach + Strategy to closely manage program pipelines and forecast to ensure target participant and revenue numbers are met. 📍Negotiate, manage and administer contracts with corporate clients 📍Ensure detailed understanding of undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio. 📍Analysis, Reporting & Documentation 📍Maintain and manage customer relationship information using Salesforce. 📍Work closely with Marketing Director to ensure effective ROOI on marketing spend set against campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

📍Bachelor's degree 📍Master’s degree (Desirable) 📍Fluency in English and French (desirable) 📍Proven track record in B2B and/or B2C sales/ business development environment 📍Evidence of using a consultative sales approach within a commercial environment 📍Experience in an African context 📍Proven experience of working to and successfully achieving revenue targets
