Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES

šŸ“Business Development šŸ“Develop and execute a strategy to achieve the agreed revenue targets for programmes, corporate client relationships and third-party relationships. šŸ“Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships. šŸ“Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements. šŸ“Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials. šŸ“Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities. Recommends equity investments. šŸ“Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations. šŸ“Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities. šŸ“Estimates partnersā€™ needs and goals. šŸ“Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations. šŸ“Responsible for building/managing a task force of business developers across the continent? šŸ“Finance and Resource Management šŸ“Work with Director of Outreach + Strategy to closely manage program pipelines and forecast to ensure target participant and revenue numbers are met. šŸ“Negotiate, manage and administer contracts with corporate clients šŸ“Ensure detailed understanding of undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio. šŸ“Analysis, Reporting & Documentation šŸ“Maintain and manage customer relationship information using Salesforce. šŸ“Work closely with Marketing Director to ensure effective ROOI on marketing spend set against campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

šŸ“Bachelor's degree šŸ“Masterā€™s degree (Desirable) šŸ“Fluency in English and French (desirable) šŸ“Proven track record in B2B and/or B2C sales/ business development environment šŸ“Evidence of using a consultative sales approach within a commercial environment šŸ“Experience in an African context šŸ“Proven experience of working to and successfully achieving revenue targets
