Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES
šBusiness Development šDevelop and execute a strategy to achieve the agreed revenue targets for programmes, corporate client relationships and third-party relationships. šBuilds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships. šIdentifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements. šScreens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials. šEvaluates options and resolves internal priorities. Recommends equity investments. šDevelops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations. šExamines risks and potentials for the business opportunities. šEstimates partnersā needs and goals. šCloses new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations. šResponsible for building/managing a task force of business developers across the continent? šFinance and Resource Management šWork with Director of Outreach + Strategy to closely manage program pipelines and forecast to ensure target participant and revenue numbers are met. šNegotiate, manage and administer contracts with corporate clients šEnsure detailed understanding of undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio. šAnalysis, Reporting & Documentation šMaintain and manage customer relationship information using Salesforce. šWork closely with Marketing Director to ensure effective ROOI on marketing spend set against campaigns
REQUIREMENTS
šBachelor's degree šMasterās degree (Desirable) šFluency in English and French (desirable) šProven track record in B2B and/or B2C sales/ business development environment šEvidence of using a consultative sales approach within a commercial environment šExperience in an African context šProven experience of working to and successfully achieving revenue targets
