Job Summary
Your mission will be:
šResponsible for all transfer pricing matters of the multinational group, including: šMaintaining and updating the Groupās transfer pricing policies, documentation thereof, intercompany agreements and related services schedules; šPerforming transfer pricing calculations, maintaining intercompany trial balance accounts and reviewing related party disclosures for inclusion in the annual financial statements; šLiaising with and providing support to external auditors to ensure that the transfer pricing policies are understood and appropriately and timeously concluded on as part of the annual audit process; šPreparing and submitting transfer pricing returns and documentation and providing input into the Ultimate Parent Entityās country-by-country report; and šLiaising with revenue authorities on queries and audits relating to transfer pricing. šResponsible for all transfer pricing matters of the multinational group, including: šManaging group restructure transactions; šIdentifying and applying for available tax treaty relief for intercompany charges and other cross-border payments; šPerforming UK controlled foreign company assessments and calculations; šResearching and responding to international tax developments (e.g. Pillar 2); and šProviding input into the Groupās treatment in the Ultimate Parent Entityās US tax returns.
Other responsibilities include:
šAssessing and communicating the transfer pricing and international tax implications of new products; šAssisting with FATCA and CRS compliance matters; šEducating the broader Finance team and business on relevant transfer pricing and international tax matters; and šAssisting with the Groupās tax compliance generally.
A little about you:
šPostgraduate qualification in Taxation or CA (SA). šMinimum of 5 years transfer pricing and international tax experience in a multinational company or in consulting. šAdvanced excel skills. šExcellent written and verbal communication skills. šStrong attention to detail. šPractical, problem solving mindset - able to make decisions to manage risk. šThe ability to build strong, mutually respectful relationships with diverse teams, and to deal with multiple different teams, countries and issues on any given day. šDesirable experience: Transfer pricing and international tax experience in South Africa, Malaysia, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Indonesia and Australia.
