Job Summary
What You Will Be Doing
📍Positioning & Messaging: Define and refine our product positioning and messaging across target customer segments—developers, crypto-native builders and projects, businesses, institutional platforms, and more. 📍Sales Enablement: Develop and maintain high-quality sales enablement materials, including case study decks, product one-pagers, sales pitch decks, landing page content, and competitor battle cards. 📍Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution: Plan and execute GTM strategies for product updates, new data endpoints, new data delivery methods, or vertical use cases. Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Growth teams to align on GTM briefs, timelines, and success metrics. 📍Drive Thought Leadership & External Visibility: Lead efforts to enhance CoinGecko API’s visibility through strategic communications—ranging from PR, media outreach, to thought leadership initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally to amplify key product milestones, establish crypto data authority in priority markets, and strengthen our market perception among businesses and industry stakeholders. 📍CRM & Email Strategy: Support post-demo nurturing via CRM/email campaigns—particularly for Managed Accounts—ensuring that leads receive relevant follow-ups and educational content aligned to their use case. 📍Content Production: Partner with the content and creative teams to create written and visual assets to support product launches, nurture journeys, and sales conversations. 📍Product-Led Narrative: Translate technical capabilities into clear business value, especially for complex API features. You’ll serve as the voice of the product to the market, and the voice of the market back to product.
What We Look For In You
📍Proven Ability: You are a T-shaped Marketer with 4+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or B2B SaaS marketing—preferably for API, crypto, fintech, or developer-focused products. You’ve owned or meaningfully contributed to one or more areas such as sales enablement, content, go-to-market launches, or CRM/email marketing. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is a plus. 📍Marketing Foundations: You’re equipped with core marketing skills—ranging from positioning and messaging, to content creation and campaign execution. You understand sales funnels, personas, and value propositions, and have experience using tools like Google Sheets, GA4, Figma, HubSpot, Salesforce, Mixpanel, or Amplitude. Bonus if you're comfortable working with light data analysis (SQL) or CRM/email tools for nurturing flows. 📍Domain Knowledge: Passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain, or financial markets is a huge plus. Upon joining, you’re expected to quickly build a strong understanding of our API users (developers, analysts, DeFi platforms), what they value, and how to best position our product to meet their evolving needs. 📍Bias to Action: You’re proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented. You don’t wait to be told what to do—you seek clarity, ask questions, and find ways to move forward. You apply what you learn and are constantly looking to improve both your skills and your output. 📍Operational Excellence: You have a sharp eye for detail and deliver high-quality, error-free work.
