Job Summary

The opportunity

📍Global product counsel for Kraken products, including Listings, Onchain, and Embed 📍Provide end‑to‑end advice across ideation, development, marketing, launch, and lifecycle changes. 📍DRI for the Listings, Onchain, Embed, Desktop and Breakout product, development, and engineer sub-pods 📍Marketing and promotions review for these products/pods across the US/UK/EU. 📍Regulatory perimeter analysis relevant regimes post‑licensing, determining which features require additional permissions, disclosures, or structuring. 📍Stakeholder enablement – draft playbooks, templates, and risk assessments to accelerate compliant shipping. 📍Advise and write regulatory analyses on regulatory implications in US, EU, UK of onchain products, 📍Support product ideation and design, review output from token listings GPT, and confirm accuracy to provide final legal seal of approval (with the background of all relevant compliance frameworks: Bitlicense, US securities and and MiCA).

Skills you should HODL

📍10+ years of relevant experience applying financial regulations (including MiFID), whether at a law firm or in-house 📍Detailed knowledge of MiCA 📍Mindset that is team-oriented, plus proactive and entrepreneurial: an opportunity-making person who uses the law to increase the company’s optionality, not decrease it 📍Interest in the crypto industry / what our company is offering to the world and why
