Job Summary
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
šAssisting with the monthly general ledger reconciliation process, including the processing of bank transactions, adjusting journals as well as responsibility for maintaining the integrity of key balance sheet accounts. šPreparation of the monthly management reporting packs. šAssist with the preparation of monthly and annual tax lodgements and FBT returns. šDrive process and system improvements to enhance the financial reporting and control environment. šAssist in the development and maintenance of key policy and process documentation. šProviding reliable and timely support the Financial Controller and the wider Finance team with ad-hoc tasks.
To be successful you will have:
šTertiary qualification in accounting or related discipline and 2-4 years' experience in a relevant commercial accounting role. šProgression towards membership in a professional accounting body. šHigh level computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications. šA developed and demonstrable problem-solving ability. šWell-developed organisational and communication skills and a customer-centric approach when liaising with internal and external stakeholders. šHigh level of accuracy, numerical ability and attention to detail. šAdaptable and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
