About the company

Luxor specializes in the physical delivery of hashrate (compute power). Over the past four years we have been acting as a buyer of hashrate, purchasing, and mining over $500mm worth. We currently have 130,000 machines that sell us their hashrate daily. We fundamentally believe that compute power itself is a commodity and we want to build out traditional marketplaces and derivates for it. We are building a spot-market for hashrate, not dissimilar to a compute-power version of Henry Hub. After this is completed we will begin building incredibly powerful and interesting derivative products on the value of hashrate.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

šŸ“Facilitate Bitcoin mining hardware procurement to our existing and prospective clients through our Luxor RFQ platform and OTC ASIC Trading Desk. šŸ“Provide our client base with a deep understanding of ASIC markets, including the technology, economics, trends, and trading process through direct calls, memos, and reports. šŸ“Constantly source new supplies of ASICs and GPUs. šŸ“Coordinate with the operations team on logistics, warehousing, and after-sales support. šŸ“Monitor sales pipeline and sales activity, iterating on our approaches. šŸ“Produce and maintain sales reports for the internal team.

Requirements

šŸ“2+ years of work experience in sales-related or customer-facing roles. šŸ“Strong interest and knowledge in the Bitcoin and mining industry. šŸ“Based in Middle East Asia and the ability to travel within the continent. šŸ“English and Arabic language proficiency, bonus points for Mandarin. šŸ“Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. šŸ“Understand the sales cycle, and able to adjust sales strategies based on sales stages and customer archetypes. šŸ“Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and customer-oriented. šŸ“Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, experience with CRM such as Hubspot. šŸ“Basic knowledge of financial accounting. šŸ“Bachelorā€™s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or communication.
