Job Summary
What you'll be doing:
šCreate a vision and strategy for sustainable community growth & development šDefine objectives and key results to be used in weekly reports šCreate a strategy to reach and onboard community members from outside the Aptos ecosystem, educating them on the Aptos ecosystem and its unique advantages šNurture and support the community, converting new members into project advocates šWork closely with the Head of Community and APAC Marketing Lead to implement your strategy šManage the Japanese Collective šWork with our Head of Community and Collective Manager to support Japanese ambassadors through grants, resources, and other forms of help. šOrganize Events and Activations: Manage planning, scheduling, promotion, execution, and optimization of key community events online and offline šBuild, maintain, and operate a calendar of content, events, and activities šSupport online and in-person hackathons, meetups, webinars, and conferences šProviding Support: Engage with leaders in the community to help anyone get involved, connecting various contributors with projects and other opportunities šAnswer technical and non-technical user questions, help with troubleshooting Aptos products šCreate innovative, scalable processes to make community members feel valued and supported šMonitor Community Health: track performance using available tools / dashboards (Orbit.love) and make recommendations to improve structures and processes šGather Feedback: understand community needs and how to address unique challenges šSurface wonderful stories that emerge from our community šAmplify Messages: work closely with our Marketing Team to drive meaningful awareness and quality engagement šContribute to weekly community updates about projects in our ecosystem šHelp manage the Japan X account to share local wins and news Share Knowledge: develop educational content such as blog posts, guides, videos, etc. šBuild Connections: work with ecosystem contributors to coordinate various initiatives
What weāre looking for:
šExcellent communication skills (native Japanese and fluent English) š2+ years of professional experience as a community manager or similar position š2+ years moderating active Telegram, LINE, and related platforms Relevant professional experience in social media, digital marketing, or analytics šDeep enthusiasm, knowledge, and familiarity with the blockchain / crypto industry šDetail oriented with great problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills šStrong sense of accountability, responsiveness, and empathy
