The Application Security Engineer will be responsible for improving the zkEVM-based zkRollup security, ensuring that Scroll is one of the safest Layer 2ās for projects and users. The role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a start-up environment, a self-starter that is dynamic and comfortable to take on responsibilities and can work effectively within a remote setup.
Job Summary
Responsibilities
šOwn and execute end-to-end design projects that deliver intuitive user experience for blockchain and web3 products. šCollaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Utilize various research techniques such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies to gather qualitative and quantitative data. šDevelop user-centered design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that address user needs and align with business goals. šMaintain unified and high-quality design systems that adhere to style guides and brand identity. šLead and mentor junior designers and help develop best practices through constructive feedback and documentation.
Requirements
šBachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related field. šAt least 2+ years of leading product design and visual design teams. šAt least 5+ years of product design experience, including research, prototyping, and implementation of user-facing applications. šProficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Framer, or equivalent. šProficiency in user research techniques and tools, such as interviews, surveys, usability testing software, and analytics platforms. šExcellent product and interaction design skills, with a strong portfolio that reflects independent project ownership and high-quality execution. šStrong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams. šFamiliar with blockchain and web3 products
