Job Summary
Responsibilities
šAssist in the daily operations of IT systems and network infrastructure. šMonitor network performance and troubleshoot basic network issues. šPerform routine maintenance on servers and workstations, ensuring optimal performance. šProvide technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues. šManage user accounts and permissions in LDAP. šAssist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux operating systems. šTroubleshoot and resolve Linux-related issues, including system performance and application errors. šParticipate in the implementation of security measures to safeguard the organization's data. šDocument processes and procedures related to system administration tasks.
Requirements
šBasic understanding of network operations, including familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPSec/SSL VPN, and routing concepts. šExperience with Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS) and basic troubleshooting skills. šKnowledge of system administration tools and practices is a plus. šFamiliarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash) is an advantage but not required. šBasic understanding of information security principles and best practices. šFamiliarity with network security tools and technologies. šStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. šExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
