Job Summary
What will you be doing in this role?
šMonitor operational systems for resource usage and failure rates to guide system tuning. šConfigure system software parameters to optimize throughput and efficiency. šInstall and test new versions of system software. šSupport the preparation of software implementation procedures, including fallback contingency plans. šSupport the operational configuration of network components. šAssist in diagnosing and resolving network issues. šCarry out specified maintenance procedures. šInstall or remove system components following provided instructions and tools. šPerform standard tests and assists in investigating problems and faults. šVerify proper functioning of installations. šDocument results according to agreed procedures. šExecute deployment activities using approved tools and techniques. šRecord activities, logs results, and documents technical work performed. šAssist in designing, verifying, documenting, modifying, and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment.
Requirements
šWhat do you need to succeed in this position? šA minimum of a Bachelorās degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in a related discipline with minimum of 2 years practical experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization. šWorking knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP protocols, and related standards. šStrong understanding of network troubleshooting techniques using diverse test equipment and software tools. šAdvanced knowledge of server and client technologies, including Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
