Job Summary
The Opportunity
šLead Core Systems Development: Manage and mentor a team of developers responsible for building and maintaining our mission-critical core trading systems. These systems cover everything from exchange connectivity and P&L calculations to middle-office functions and token transfers. šDrive Technical Strategy: Take ownership of the technical roadmap for the our core systems suite of applications - balancing the need for high-performance, robust applications with business priorities and speed to market. šBridge Business & Tech: Take the lead in translating tradersā connectivity and business requirements into seamless, high-performance solutions. Support and mentor team members in doing this requirements analysis and design. šElevate Engineering Standards: Champion engineering best practices, with a strong focus on enhancing system reliability, monitoring, and overall code quality. šOperational Excellence: Provide leadership in troubleshooting and quickly resolving complex production issues in a fast-paced trading environment.
Who you are
šExtensive HFT Experience: You have extensive experience building highly performant, complex backend systems and microservices architectures, ideally from a leading HFT environment. You thrive on the challenge of dealing with massive data throughput at low latency. šCore Technical Skills: You are an expert in Python and have a working knowledge of C++. Experience with TypeScript is an added bonus. šCapital Markets Expertise: You have a strong understanding of exchange APIs, websockets, and critical low-latency communication protocols.
