Job Summary
You may be a fit for this role, if you:
šHave 8+ years of professional experience building backend services. šHave designed, delivered and maintained customer facing APIs. šHave experience designing, building and deploying cloud native micro-services. šAre passionate about building automated tests alongside your features. šEnjoy building services from scratch and supporting them over a meaningful period of time. šHave a genuine interest and pride in code quality and infrastructure. šHave experience performing on-call support for production systems. šPrioritize end-user experience and business value over ācool tech.ā šDeveloped ācomputer science fundamentalsā, i.e. algorithms, data structures and operating systems (Formal CS degree NOT required). šHave real world experience building complex distributed systems. šBelieve software engineering is a team activity and enjoy collaborating every single day, learning from and mentoring others. šYou enjoy working closely with the product team to ship the best solution in a reasonable amount of time.
Although not a requirement, bonus points if you:
šHave professional experience with C++ or Go, Kubernetes, GraphQL API design and implementation and/or gRPC API design and implementation. šHave experience with system security (e.g. authentication, authorization, identity, API keys). šHave a background in the finance or cryptocurrency industries.
