Job Summary

What you might be doing:

📍Develop business and investment strategies for tax and VAT optimization 📍Verify the accuracy of tax related records and documents 📍Find tax solutions to complicated international tax issues 📍Answer technical questions regarding international tax laws 📍Maintain written and oral communications between the company and all relevant advisors, local accountants, auditors and regulatory agencies 📍Remain up to date with changes in the tax code and accounting laws 📍Conduct research on tax compliance issues at local and international levels 📍Reconciliation of accounts and analysis on a group level 📍Participation in the monthly and annual closings and audits for all the entities of the group

What you might bring:

📍Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience 📍Proven track record as a tax specialist, tax accountant, tax analyst or similar role, Big 4 firm experience a plus 📍Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 📍Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization 📍Fluent in written and spoken English is a must, French is a plus 📍Ability to work independently in a virtual, global organization 📍Highly detail-oriented
