Job Summary
Responsibilities: What you’ll do
📍 Design, implement, and maintain clean, modular UI code and prefabs in Unity (UGUI). 📍Work closely with UX/UI designers and product teams to bring mockups to life with smooth interactions and animations as defined by a clear GDD and spec. 📍Connecting UI with gameplay, systems, and backend logic. 📍 Proactively optimize UI layout, responsiveness, and performance to ensure a seamless player experience.
Qualifications: Who you are and what you’ve done
📍 5-8 years of experience in game development, with a strong focus on Unity UI.
📍Deep understanding of Unity’s UI systems: UGUI, Canvas system, layout groups, anchors, and resolution scaling.
📍 Strong understanding of Unity’s architecture, including best practices for MonoBehaviours, ScriptableObjects, Prefabs, Prefab Variants and Addressables.
📍Comfortable working in a live service environment with frequent updates and UI iteration.
📍 A proactive mindset and pride in taking ownership of features from start to finish.
📍Can work autonomously, but communicate clearly, and collaborate with other engineers, designers and artists.
