Job Summary
Responsibilities:
š1. Network Operations & Architecture: šLead the datacenter network operation cycle, including architecture, operations, troubleshooting, and monitoring. šManage network WAN connectivity, including ISP relationships, BGP peering, and private connections. šPlan and oversee changes to the production network, including hardware and software upgrades. šEvaluate and recommend new solutions, hardware, and technologies for integration. š2. Team Leadership & Mentorship: šProvide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to network engineers on the team. šSet priorities, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to best practices and operational standards. šFoster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. š3. Monitoring & Compliance: šOversee implementation and operation of network monitoring solutions to ensure reliability and performance. šSupport compliance and security initiatives in partnership with the Security department. šEnsure adherence to security policies and proactive mitigation of risks. š4. Branch Office & User Support: šEnsure the operation and support of branch office networks, including LAN, wireless, and remote access. šAct as an escalation point for complex issues and critical incidents. šParticipate in the on-call rotation and handle after-hours support as needed. š5. Day-to-Day Operations: šPerform and oversee daily network operations and troubleshooting to maintain availability and performance.
Qualifications:
šMinimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture within a large enterprise environment. šMinimum of three (3) years of leadership experience managing network engineering teams šExpert level knowledge of BGP and OSPF šDemonstrated expertise with Fortinet and Cisco products, including configuration, management, and optimization of FortiGate firewalls, Cisco Catalyst routers & switches, and Cisco Nexus switches šExperience with AWS cloud networking architectures and multi-region inspection is desired šHands-on experience with a global workforce and remote access VPN connectivity šFamiliarity with automation tools (g., Ansible, Python) and network monitoring platforms šStrong preference for Cisco professional certifications (CCNP/CCIE)
