The QA Manager owns the quality of deliverables, ensuring that test cases exist and are run properly. This role requires technical knowledge to raise the quality of technical delivery, including test coverage, unit testing quality, and integration testing quality. This team member will join the product life cycle process from the Product Memo to the Release Memo and final release to production.
Responsibilities:
šMonitor, evaluate, manage, and execute automated and manual testing processes. šOwn our test case management tools. šEnsure software products and services consistently meet or exceed customer expectations by developing and executing comprehensive test plans. šEnsure all production releases adhere to the release management procedures. šConduct internal studies and/or audits on product development team activities to evaluate if processes and deliverables fulfill quality requirements. šProvide subject matter expertise to product development teams on quality assurance methodologies. šCollect metrics on software releases and incidents and communicate that information throughout the organisation. šCollect metrics on client management and deliveries and communicate that information throughout the organisation. šSupport development and delivery of training in quality matters. šOwn the documentation of code and business processes, ensuring they are clear and easy to follow for ongoing maintenance. šEnsure client satisfaction level is up to required standards (NPS and surveys). šGatekeep releases to uphold maximum quality standards.
Requirements:
š8+ years of experience as a QA or release manager in the financial services field. šExperience with test case management tools (e.g. TestRail). šExcellent written and communication skills. šProduct mindset. šIn-depth knowledge of one or more end-to-end SDLC methodologies.
