Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES:
đź“ŤWork directly with key suppliers to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies that support existing platforms and new product development đź“ŤPull and aggregate the overall demand picture for hardware used to support the Starlink satellite constellation to enable an accurate demand signal that will enable rate đź“ŤAct as the supplier interface for all RFIs, RFPs and RFQs đź“ŤPartner with internal stakeholders to run the RFX process and evaluation, then use results to implement a sourcing decision đź“ŤManage cost aggressively to ensure adherence to project-specific budgets and forecasts đź“ŤDevelop should-cost models for competitive cost analysis
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
đź“ŤExperience with Printed Circuit Board and/or Substrate Fabrication đź“ŤExperience with PCBAs, contract manufacturing, electronic component packaging, and/or managing a technical supply chain đź“ŤExperience in managing high-spend portfolios (i.e. $10M+) đź“ŤExperience with MRP or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and with managing bill of materials, work orders, and purchase orders.
