Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šContent Strategy: Work with key stakeholders to design and implement a comprehensive, cross-platform social strategy for The Block. šBrand Awareness: Routinely share highlights from The Blockās research and reporting with major media publications to develop in-house talent. šContent Scheduling: Develop and maintain a content calendar to track upcoming content releases and product announcements. šAudience Growth: Grow high-quality, crypto-interested followers through consistent content, and drive engagement across channels. šChannel Optimization: Repackage and publish editorial, research, and video content across social channels (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) to maximize reach and engagement. šCommunity Engagement: Cultivate an active, loyal community by responding to comments, hosting live interactions (Spaces, AMAs), and surfacing user-generated content. šAnalytics & Performance Reporting: Track engagement metrics and audience growth; compile monthly recaps with insights and recommendations. šTrend Monitoring & Reactive Posting: Stay on top of breaking news, memes, and sentiment in crypto culture to produce timely, relevant posts. šEditorial Feedback Loop: Collaborate with writers and video producers to suggest story formats and growth initiatives that are optimized for social media consumption. šPartnerships & Cross-Promotion: Coordinate giveaways, collabs, and cross-promotions with crypto creators, brands, and events. šReputation Management: Monitor and respond to misinformation, or sentiment shifts across channels, working with editorial and leadership as needed. šTools we use: Slack, Adobe CS, Figma, Megaphone, Twitter/X Analytics, YouTube Studio, ChatGPT, Trint, Epidemic Sounds, Dropbox, Riverside
What Youāll Bring
šWeāre looking for someone who has:3+ years of experience in social media and/or community management, preferably in crypto, media, or tech. šDeep understanding of the crypto space and its audiences (Twitter, Discord, Telegram culture). šProficiency in social content creation including headlines, memes, captions, and short-form video ideation. šStrong communication skills and ability to speak confidently in a brand voice across platforms. šExperience using analytics tools and performance dashboards to inform decisions. šExcellent organization and self-motivation ā comfortable in a fast-paced, remote environment.
