Job Summary
What you will be responsible for:
šSourcing & Supplier Management šLead sourcing and resourcing activities for assigned commodities (passive components, connectors, ICs, sheet metal, etc.) šIdentify and qualify new suppliers to ensure capability, quality, cost competitiveness, and delivery reliability šWork closely with design, engineering, and procurement teams to support new product development (NPI) and ensure timely availability of parts šEvaluate and drive supplier performance improvement on quality, cost, and delivery metrics šConduct cost analysis and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms šManage technical discussions with suppliers, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards šSupport risk assessment, mitigation, and supply continuity planning šMaintain accurate documentation for supplier qualification, audits, and component lifecycle management šResponsible to understand and assess Part Change Notices (PCNs) from suppliers and evaluate whether product requalification or additional validation is required. Perform supplier audits and performance evaluations, resolving quality, delivery, or compliance issues proactively.
How you will stand out:
šBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. šMinimum of 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and/or supply chain management, preferably in technology or electronics manufacturing. šStrong knowledge of consumer electronics, mechanical and electrical component procurement. šStrong negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to build long-term, positive supplier relationships. šIn-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and delivery management and supply chain risk mitigation.
