Our team of veteran finance and technology executives from Goldman Sachs, Two Sigma, and Citadel has developed one of the world's most robust trading platforms designed to navigate issues unique to the digital asset markets.
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, optimize, and support highly available systems across our global trading infrastructure. You will manage a multi-regional cloud environment while integrating and automating our physical server inventory using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), working across all layers of infrastructure including networking, Linux systems, Kubernetes, microservice orchestration, observability, and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities:
šDesign, optimize, and support highly available systems across GSR's global trading infrastructure. šManage a multi-regional cloud environment and integrate and automate physical server inventory using IaC. šOwn and improve networking and exchange connectivity, Linux systems and Kubernetes administration, microservice orchestration and observability, and disaster recovery and security optimization. šTake full-spectrum ownership of services with a deep commitment to designing and implementing robust, accelerative solutions. šImprove reliability, security, and performance across the infrastructure underpinning GSR's trading operations.
Requirements:
šContainers & Orchestration: Strong expertise in container security and Kubernetes (multi-cluster/global deployment is a plus). šDistributed Systems & Messaging: Knowledge of clusters, storage, Kafka, Aeron, and experience with multicast or HPC. šAutomation & IaC: Proficiency in Python, Golang, or Rust with experience in IaC tools and immutable infrastructure. šContinuous Delivery & Config Management: Familiarity with FluxCD, ArgoCD, and custom CD deployments. Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines. šLinux & Networking: Solid understanding of Linux internals, cgroups, routing, switching, firewalls, and DNS/service discovery. šDatabases: Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and database administration (Flyway or Liquibase a plus).
Nice-to-have: šData center operations experience. šCrypto, fintech, bare-metal provisioning, or trading experience.
