Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We are the first (and so far, only) company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto. We're fully remote, with team members across the globe.
Job Summary
Responsibilities
šSmart Contract and Protocol Development: Drive the development of new chain deployments, novel DeFi interoperability and bridging solutions, and DeFi protocols for Ondo Financeās ever-evolving product suite. šTechnical Leadership: Serve as a tech lead and subject matter expert for blockchain projects, guiding the engineering team in delivering high-impact, scalable solutions while making sound technical decisions that align with long-term goals.
Requirements
šBased in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones. šExcellent technical and non-technical communication skills, verbal and written. šBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. š5+ years of software engineering experience. šMinimum of 3+ years of experience working in blockchain engineering, ideally coming from another Defi Protocol live on multiple chains. šA strong competency with Solidity and other non-EVM smart contract languages. šProven results in building and scaling a Defi protocol. šStrong technical grasp and excellent judgment on task prioritizations. šStrong emphasis on understanding the āwhyā behind requirements and commitment defining the āminimum scopeā
